Going to need a lot of Rucki pictures to hold me over until mine comes. If people didn't think I was crazy before, they sure will now. Especially when out and about in the woods.

They're all awesome for sure. Kind of nice having the wait. Was the same thing with a Michael Morris folder I got. Helps get you through the week, or month in both that case and this Rucki.

Anyone know of a sheath maker who would make something out of cordura/nylon with a plastic insert or something? The only other option I've seen and would want is the pancake style sheath from Azwelke or somebody. Though having something slimmer, even the taco style one seems a bit big. I'm thinking something along the lines of a saya for a katana. Who knows, have some time for that.

Btw, sweet set of knives, Hooker.

Try rainwalker creations! Excellent service but he is busy and like the knives he has a wait! He is making a sheath for my Basic 9 and rodent 9.

Mashed cat is good too besides azwelke. For leather there is chuddy bear and buy brown.

Anyone know if the blade coating is effective by RIT dye? Considering using it on the handles, though don't want to screw up the blade.

I never tried the dart method, but did try and throw it like a regular knife.

Never got it to stick, and I shifted my damn scales

    No good on that.

Not sure what the weight distribution is like, but seems like it'd make one mean projectile. Attach a small shaft....would be some frightening stuff.

    Awesome kydex on those!

I use tonthrow my CS katana Machete and it was pretty easy but dont know the weight diff. Between the rucki and the machete?
I bet the rucki is heavie so would balance out better? Maybe!
But again the handle is a lot shorter that it.?

I'll be sure to use mine, though when is another story. I always have this issue using a new knife. Of course once I do it snow balls. Want to take a rucki to some cattail or something along those lines. Would be sweet if more people with ruckis/wakis/etc were in the north east.

The pics are definitely cool though. Really can't wait to get mine.
