I just got a new BK-5 delivered from one of the good guys Mr. Greybush. I have to admit, I never thought I would own a 5. Always thought it looked too much like a kitchen knife. Always thought I'd have a 9, 2, 14 and maybe a 6 eventually.

But after hearing from so many people about the Greatness of the 5, I went for it. And it is beautiful! Incredibly light and fast and nimble. She just flows. I haven't been this excited about a knife since I got my 10 LE.

That just leaves the 9, 16, 12 maybe, and eventually the 6 and 24 and everything else that I haven't mentioned.

I promised Mike I would post up pictures so here is the one that I've got so far.

Nice choice. Fits right in with everyone. Got big plans for testing it out?

Not anything extravagant. It's been ridiculously hot here. So no big camping or hiking trips anytime soon. Probably strip it and put it to work around the yard and kitchen of course.

nice collection you got going there, I've been eyeing up the 15 as my next blade, as Ethan says, it's the best steak knife in the world!

tman - sexy yes and a little dangerous.

Oldutch - I'm really torn between the 9, uber powerful, and the very bushcrafty 16. Both excellent at what they do but very different.

    Only time will tell.
