If you are reading the above post, then I'm probably procrastinating

Thanks guys.... I do prefer to take out 'Roos with a rifle as opposed to a vehicle...but you do what you have to do...
There is nothing too special about the camera gear, Nikon D80 (with lots of bumps and bruises as I can always baby it) and for all of these it was wearing a Nikon 18-200VR lens. The night shots are only possible thanks to a Manfrotto tripod.
Always enjoy your pics. Next time I go back to Thailand, I hope to make a trip to Australia too.
A few more random pics from the several hundred I took....

Beautiful country you have there, think Ill go watch Crocodile Dundee now.
All well and good being home but just got told I am on the road again now till early next week..!!!
That quarry photo is unique and a little disturbing ... seems to portray the expression "down to the bowels of the earth" ... what are they mining there ?
What do you do when you're on the road ... surveying for mining companies ?
That is a Gold Mine mate.
Traveling Gigolo mate.....![]()
Killer pics mate! I have got to come over there someday!
Jack Burton: Well, ya see, I'm not saying that I've been everywhere and I've done everything, but I do know it's a pretty amazing planet we live on here, and a man would have to be some kind of FOOL to think we're alone in THIS universe.
