Lovely photos. Sorry for all the misfortune you experienced during this trip, it did make for a story worthy of sharing. Thanks.

    Rock on!

Easy... See a Roo and aim your vehicle at it Andy, amazing photos and thanks for sharing. I have always wanted to visit Australia since I was a kid. Will have to start saving and get down there one day before I'm old and gray.

Thanks guys.... I do prefer to take out 'Roos with a rifle as opposed to a vehicle...but you do what you have to do...

There is nothing too special about the camera gear, Nikon D80 (with lots of bumps and bruises as I can always baby it) and for all of these it was wearing a Nikon 18-200VR lens. The night shots are only possible thanks to a Manfrotto tripod.

Always enjoy your pics. Next time I go back to Thailand, I hope to make a trip to Australia too.

That quarry photo is unique and a little disturbing ... seems to portray the expression "down to the bowels of the earth" ... what are they mining there ?

What do you do when you're on the road ... surveying for mining companies ?
