Hi, I just picked up this throwing knife at a flea market. It is 10" long and has "G.C Co. Japan" marked on bottom of handle. I don't know anything about knives but would like to know more about it. Thanks.https://picasaweb.google.com/1044275...7477/July12012

They normally come with a cord wrapping around the handle.
I bet it throws better without the cord wrapping. Another good modification would be to remove the "ears" at the pommel and have the handle tapered to the end.
It's a bit late, but I have one of those. Mine had a leather handle wrapping, it was damaged so I replaced it with cord. It throws well with a wrap, the ears don't pose an issue. It's not the best thrower, as I find it too light, but it's not bad.
