Wow what the hell is going on?
Tried...really tried to watch the new show "Chasing UFO's" but after a few...I say just a few...minutes I deleted it from my DVR.
Its' got to be one of the most stupid shows currently on TV. Over the top melodrama, fake "experts", I'd rather watch Snooki...or stick a needle in my eye.
Rather than the Men In Black I'd rather see the Men With Nets take the writers of this show away...far far away.

Sadly, sensationalism draws better ratings than science.

The problem with NatGeo and other such channels is that they only have 10 minutes worth of material and have to stretch to about 45 minutes.

It's not the length of time it's the pathetic acting and fake antics. They fake intrusions in off limits...are they really?...areas, etc. and act as experts when they seem far from it. Plus the cursing...it sounds so fake...I'm no prude, far from it, the F bomb is every few works in every conversation at work but these actors sound like complete morons.
I was hoping for something slightly interesting and perhaps serious coming from NatGeo but this is the worst of the shows.

At least we've got a new Cosmos with Neil Degrasse Tyson.

    +1 on this.
Plus I'd like to see this show get picked up by someone. http://www.skeptologists.com/

I listened to an interview with one of the Geographic executives on NPR's On The Media show. He said that the organization only ownes about 25% of the TV show. The rest is owned by the production company. He said that they are in negotiations to produce shows that "better reflect the mission" of the organization.

Maybe they should have consulted Alex Jones.

I'd love to see something like the skeptics show mentioned above, and less

...Seems like they're going the same route as the History Channel.
