Now those are quite interesting. Now I wonder how it would have fared on the market? Thanks for sharing.
Happy 4th of July everyone...
I got this Buck 825 Statue of Liberty from a ex-Buck-employee a few months ago... He said it was a prototype...
He said they were going to make them like this one, but they came up with an idea to use pewter
handles instead... I think it cool want do you think... ITE ...
825 Pewter... My first one...
825 Pewter... With no rocker rivet (lockbar)... (Maybe a prototype)...
825Pewter... Buck wanted to keep the original green look on the brass medallion...
Pictures of all three of them...
825 Prototype...

Happy 4th of July right back at you!.
That is a cool folder ITE. Excellent photos, as usual. Thank you kindly for sharing this on Independence Day.

Off topic: Liberty, depicted as a woman, is an interesting theme and one with quite a history. The French version has the striding woman armed & surrounded by the fallen (fierce creatures to arm). A link to pic of liberty as women interpreted by artists, on coins, from my vault for your amusement: http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...Liberty012.jpg

Happy 4th of July everyone!!
ITE...the differences in those three knives pictured in your first post are pretty cool. I'll have to check out a few of mine when I get home. Also, I've never seen one of those knives like you have in the first picture in post #6.
