Very nice! I've been considering picking up some of those models for my shop and seeing some better pics of them besides the stock images cemented it.![]()

Good day, everyone.
I want to share several pictures of my Eka folders.
I own several of this wonderfully made knives. I prefer the knives of classical product line, with unique Eka's brass screws.
All my Ekas are pictured here:
all the knives are pictured in order of buying from left to right. (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/28530570/Col...60767_1280.jpg - for bigger version)
My first Eka knife was Eka Swede 60 (sandvik blade of the new shape, plastic handle).
here it is, under the Endura
One of the most impressive features of this folder - it could be uscrewed by some coin, cleaned and screwed back within several minutes
Then - the best knife for peeling fruits I ever used, Eka Swede 90
Small 3-function folder with very delicate blade.
small bud very useful slipjoint - Eka Compact. Very nice geometry, one of the best handles. (don't have any dedicaed photos of it)
Then - the Eka Camp
Very interesting and rare folder, the camping cutter. Very unusual shape of both the blade, the handle. I like to do some kitchen work with it
Here it ison the left.
on this photo You can see Camp, Sandvik blade Swede 60, my next knife - Eka Swede 38, and a compact.
A few words about Swede 38. I own a carbon steel version of this fantastic little slipjoint. It is one of my favourite EDC-knife. It has very sharp and durable blade, and very comfortable handle.
And my last knife for today - Carbon blade version of Swede 60 with wooden handle.
The scales are replaced (warranty case because of small crack near one screw hole)
Here it is, on top of the picture
and one more photo:
As You can see, the sandvik blade on a Swede 60 is now replaced with absolutely new blade of old shape, with plain scandinavian grinding. The original blade is planned to be installed in a kind of FrankenEka(i already hase some material for the knife, only thing I need - is the spring
Thank You for attention!
And sorry for possible mistakes in grammar![]()

That carbon
Swede 60 is a great looking knife. Very hard to find though...
my preferable Swede 60 is plastic handle with new blade of old shape
And the most cool thing in this blade - I get it for free directly from company![]()
Nice collection. Eka makes some very fine knives. It's a pity they don't have wider distribution in the US.
I want at least two more knives - Eka Swede 92 and Eka Fillet
The EKA 88 Masur is one of my all time favo's.

Paul, I am envy to Your collection! ^_^
I just forgot about Swede 88
Thanks to our f...ing customs, they just send my Swede 38, Eka fillet and Eka Swede 88 back to USA. Hate them
some time ago I have bought several new EKA 110 knives for me and two my friends.
Really good knife with stunning locking mechanism
Unfortunatly it was discontinued many years ago
PS My knife is the carbon steel with gray button
Here's mine. Apologies for the poor quality pic.

You'll notice it has Normark markings on the handle. Quite a few EKA folders were re-branded by Normark. They also sold Martinni knives with Normark branding on the handles and sheaths.
I just posted some findings on the EKA Swede 45 and Swede 38 at http://www.flickr.com/photos/3785814...in/photostream

Possibly it is some of your photos I have used without asking...
Kind regards
Yes, several of our pictures..
Anyway, thank You for interesting post.
I wrote an article about Torbjörn Evrell (president of EKA 1946-1985 and knife innovator 1946-1995). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torbj%C3%B6rn_Evrell. As always with wikipedia: feel free to improve, correct and add. I plan to add some photos.
Very nice work! Congrats!

Antsnark, nice collection!
I only have an old #38 with a M-number, wich means it belonged to the Military Forces.
