I was in Oregon for the OKCA show this past April. I was staying at Mike Turner's for a few days after the show learning the in's and out's of forging, We took a break and headed down to where Mark Works. Mark asked if I would make him a necker, I was honored.

A few weeks ago a few extra pieces of wood snuck into one of my orders from Burl Source. One was a very nice piece of Redwood Pin Burl with "Mark's Necker" written on it.

    Here is it Mark:
    Specs:
    Steel: 1/8" Aldo's W2
    OAL: 6.25"
    Blade: 2.75"
    Handle: Redwood Pin Burl
    Sheath: Stevenson Shark Skin
Misc: Tapered Tang, Mosaic Pin, Hamon

Like that a lot; nicely done!

Are those flared tubes or chamfered thick wall tubing?

Looks amazing Ryan. Love that blade shape, and definitely a wood-man's wood scales. Great job.

Mark's kinda funny that way. He sent me a nice piece of wood awhile ago, foolishly thinking I'd actually get around to making a knife with it...I won't forget I owe him one!
    Nice piece Ryan.

I just got the knife in the mail today.
    I love it!
My boss tried to talk me out of it, but no way.
This is a really cool little knife.
I have been wearing around my neck ever since I opened the box.
    Thank You Ryan!!!!
