    ZT0301 - It may not slice the best, but it's brutally strong and would last a lifetime I'm sure:

    There's no reason why a well made liner/framelock shouldn't last for years anyway if they are taken care of. It's not like they biodegrade or anything...

    No offense, but I saw a nearly identical thread title about 2-3 weeks ago.
    Edit added: I was half-wrong. The thread I was speaking of was on the Spy_____ Forum.
    And I'd pick the Spyderco Military in M390.

    ZT 0560.

    And you're asking knife nuts which one they would use forever?
    Maybe you should change the title to:
    "Only One EDC A Week For The Rest Of Your Life."
    Or:
    "Only One EDC A Day For The Rest Of Your Life."

    Lol. The answers would become very different and interesting.

    I've gone through a LOT of knives during my like and have responded in several of these one and only one edc threads. I like my knives too much to want to be having one edc. I would have to have at least two, one big, and a smaller slipjoint knife. I guess I would probably stick to my Case Humpback Whittler for the slippy, but for the big?? It would have to be this;

    Small dozier folding hunter. Not too heavy, grade blade and very solid feeling.

    Well considering this knife will probably last the rest of my life I choose my ZT 560.

    Victorinox Swisstool Spirit.

    An uninteresting but practical choice. I almost always carry it paired with a Mini Grip, but it could go solo too.

    If it must be a knife only, then I'd pick my Mini Grip, but I'd tart it up with some nice custom scales.
