    As per a request, with no time limits, I was asked to do a knife mod by a customer. This isn't normal as I don't have time for that normally so it is as I can get work done. It is a beaten up SOCOM that is not-so-nice. I was given free reign to the work and design...quite unusual these days. here it is from start to finish (almost)...

    Polished blade to 1500 grit wet/dry, leaving all markings intact...

    Removed blade and parts- masked off with heavy adhesive stencils...

    Cleaned up deep impact damages on handle and normalized, ready for further finish...

    Cleaned up the dents and finished with a bit of flat black dura coat, tied it together with some black stripes and put the blade back together. Masked off with templates for continuation of the pattern down the handle in toxic green GITD dura coat sometime later....

    Shows some very nice work man. I'd have liked to see it brought back to stock though but that's just me.

    Finished. I am not sure I like the green glow dura coat but that is just me. I think it looks a little busy...but...here it is...
