I too have no need for reviews. I know where this came from, and some people that are new to the knife game/hobby depend on reviews for the lack of knowledge or ability to research a knife on there own. Most people on this forum have done extensive study and have spent hours reading what people think of the knives we love. The format of discussions doesn't equate to a review but essentially that is what it is. Newbies are exactly that new, and aren't quite sure what to think or like for that matter. Reviews have a place but most of don't require one to know what it that we like.
