Just wanted to say thank you to Garth at the custom shop.
I waited "2 weeks" just like he said and presto chango an shiney new SHSH was delivered to my door.
Love the Bowie style clip point and smooth bolt fasteners.
Not so crazy about the new tigerhide canvas micarta but I do love canvas and this will become my new user so who cares.

    2 weeks = 2 years?

LOVE the clip point. Just like the old Battle Heart, no?

    How thick is it?

edit to add, yours is better looking than the old one...

The more I study that, the more it intrigues me. Not really a satin finish. more like a belt finish. The long clip, full height flat grind, and the short ricasso combine give it sleek lines. And the logo, has that been done before?

How many SHBAs did that cost you?

Anyway.... enough dreaming for me! Congrats

How thick is your new one?

So where did that bottom one in the pic come from? Was that a variant from an old show? or is that the Battle Heart from the Minumental 'Ganza?

    New one is around .235.
The other is a variant made by Jerry for a former employee and is .200 thick.
I was around when the Battle Heart came out but those were only available to HOG's so was disqualified being just a piglet.
Would like to see/handle/buy a Battle Heart if I could find one.

    Gotta love it, Dave!

Nice new user...I wouldn't mind the canvas, either!

    Wish I was kidding.
The worst Tigerhide I've ever seen.
Just 2 colors in very thick layers, yuck.
Had I known I would have choosen Tan Canvas instead.

This almost looks like someone "clipped" a Heavy Heart. No fusion handle though. If I remember correctly, the Heavy Hearts had the saber grind to them. Only Hearts that did....hmmmm, maybe some of the pre-INFI may have, I'd have to check my photo archive.

    Anyhow....I'm liking it.
