Aussie tent ideas?

Hey all, looking at getting a tent for myself and the missus. We'll mostly be using it during summer along the queensland coast. Budget is right around $200, but I'm willing to save up for the right tent. We mostly car camp, and staying dry is the major concern. I'm new to tropical camping, so suggestions are great.
I'm set for solo gear, so this one is going purely for comfort, and given that she doesn't hike much, I don't think I'll have to worry about carrying it.

If you're mainly camping in warm temperatures, go for a tent where the inner is 100% mesh, except for the floor.
I just picked up one of these http://www.amazon.com/Ledge-Sports-S.../dp/B007U54YLE from Livewell Sports (US) and shipped to SG total cost will be < $200.

Its rare to find an aluminium pole free standing dome tent with 100% mesh at that price.

Also, www.GoLite.com is having a tent sale - you could get a very light but very waterproof one for a good price. The 3 person teepee style would be luxurious!
