I saw this at the video store last weekend and wanted to rent it but it was all checked out. Sorry, can't help you on the pack, but maybe once I see the movie I'll have a better idea![]()
The trailer shows it better, from the back and full-view
I thought this pack looked like an excellent design, and it seemed to carry very well. I was hoping someone knew what brand/make/model it was.
The movie was also pretty good, kind of ''artsy'' and somewhat slow-paced..but stunning cinematography and Dafoe did well in it. I would recommend a rental.

thanks for looking anyways LOL
It was a good movie, showed him making some traps/snares..had hunting scenes in it without making hunters seem like monsters. he uses a Spyderco folder a lot in the movie...not sure what model.
This is just a guess, but it might be an Eberlestock Pack.
wait correction, I believe this is the pack. The brand is Crossfire from Australia and the model is DG-1. I'm not a 100% sure though. Considering the movie was shot in Australia and the company is Australian, if I was a betting man....

That looks just like it wizzard! Thanks
ETA, and Taco! that sure looks like it.
Nice looking pack...plus a good movie tip, Thanks
A close pack to this design would be the SnugPak Bergin also. I own one, and its a fantastic top loader.
I will have to check that movie out.
BECKERHEAD 333
Knives are functional art
thanks GKN...I like that Bergen! A lil cheaper too, and maybe easier to get here in the States.
This thread cracks me up. I watch the hunter last week and was in pursuit of the pack as well. Yep it's crossfire and they are expensive! But an awesome pack!
The only thing you can guess about a broken down old man is that he is a survivor - Joe Sarno

Actually liked the movie. Didn't care for the ending too much, but it was better than The Hunted. LOL The pack looks good but it definitely ain't an Eberlestock. They're alot more militaristic than those.
So weird I just rented this movie this week, I haven't watched it yet but I was hoping it would be good.
