    Daghetta sticky lock?

Hello, I've been finally able to get my hands on an aluminum Daghetta and while it's all great I seem to be having problem with the lock. Occasionally it seems to simply stick and be quite difficult to unlock. I'm not talking about the backlock spring but the lock 'thumbstuds' that you use to disengage the backspring. I'm guessing this is because it is a new knife and it needs a bit of use to settle in, but I'm not sure this is the case. Is this normal for a new knife?

I've just picked up the G10 version and find the action quit stiff and the studs on the backlock also stick on my knife as well. Its quite painful to open with one thumb.
Great looking knife and seems to have a quality build but difficult to operate. I hope it loosens up. I've cleaned and oiled it hoping to improve the issue but stiff and occasionally sticking.

Well I gave up on opening this knife one handed. But I like the knife and don't mind doing it two handed. Cool design but wish it was more like Benchmades axis lock when opening.

Is there an adjustment screw for changing the resistance when opening, or is the resistance coming primarily from the backspring?

Is this knife still in production? I haven't seen it in stock at any online retailers. Also is it single edged or double edged? I really like the look of the carbon fiber handle, but don't want a double edged blade for something that will be doing nothing more than opening letters and cutting the occasional salami.

Mine is a g10 handled knife. It is NOT a double edge knife. There is no external adjustment screw...I haven't taken the scale off to see what's underneath. I like the knife and bought it on eBay recently.

I got two alu. version, one was sticky the other was fine. Mine sticky one got better with use and with more use i think it will be fine. I needed to sand down both thumbstud and lockstud a bit because of some sharp edges.
