    Persistent Hunter **SOLD**

    Gentlemen:

For your consideration is a new addition, the Persistent Hunter. The S-guard does add weight to the knife so if you prefer one a bit lighter in hand, you need to order one of my Silent Hunters. This is a full S-guard, not bolsters. The neutral balance point is under the index finger where it should be and the handle has great ergos. The concave grinds were ground with an eight inch wheel to .055" at the primary edge then a convex edge was ground....it'll tree-top hair. The hamon was taken 2/3 of the way down the blade for two reasons - one was artistic: it's an S-curve matching the guard; secondly the back 1/3 of the primary edge is a bit tougher for the fella that likes to do light chopping or chopping off a squirrel's feet from the hide! I dragged the whole primary edge along a brass rod - there was no chipping or burrs formed and it still shaved hair. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it" gets it. $425 plus $15 shipping. Paypal payment preferred to my account tksteingass@frontier.com and I'll accept USPS money orders. Maker's lifetime common sense warranty and free sharpening.

    Best regards,

    TK

Thanks Alan! There was a huge amount of labor involved in machining the guard and fitting the wood to the S-guard.....I'm definitely not going to build many of these. I can make two Loveless dropped hunters in the same amount of time and come out $100 ahead over the price of this knife. This knife is underpriced I'd say!!
