Hard to beat plain jane Regulars

Do you have a closer picture of the knife on the bottom? I really like the design from what I can see.

    Those are beauts!

Recently a Large Regular Websight popped up for a pretty decent price, unfortunately I am tapped out!

I love the design on both, you have a great set, I mean pair, I mean I like your Regs

There is nothing that makes me think the knife is fake and IMO it is a real Regular Sebenza but the screws are not original to the knife in one way or another.
It's definitely real, haha. All the hardware was updated at the shop at some point. The screws are similar to my 21s and it has the new style stop pin with the two grooves. A previous owner obviously sent it in recently. You've pointed out the only thing I don't love about this knife though. I love the old style screws with the flat female side. Anyone know if CRK still stocks these? Is it in any way possible for me to get a set of them?

The knife is real, I'm not questioning that at all.

I love (and use) them both.

Please excuse the two little relatives in the picture
I'm new to Chris Reeve knives so this may be a dumb question. To me it looks like there are three different Sebenza sizes in this picture. Is it just my eyes playing tricks on me? What is the one with tannish colored handles? Thanks!

Hi RiverRat84: I found it, here it is - one of the last series from 2002:

Alex George: the two small knives are called "Umfaan". These "Mini Sebenzas" are discontinued since 2002.

P.S.: The small Regular had been anodized to a golden color by the first owner. I never really liked it but loved the knife so I just left it like that. It has turned to a nice bronze color by now.

@김원진: I've always liked them Websights, too Very nice!

sextant- i'll trade you my websight for your umfaan :P hahah i love your umfaan, i saw that one up for sale a couple times and really wanted to grab it, but funds were elsewhere. I wish i could have been in the game while the umfaans were still running. I'm curious how it feels in comparison to the mnandi.

let's keep this thread going, more pictures!

Thanks for the pic! I like the design so much that I'm currently trying to get a variation of it on a large damascus I have on order

Very nice, I'm liking the small Native American a lot.

The one thing that I dislike about the CGG models is the satin finish. I think it would be sweet if they would do a CGG with the standard bead-blasted finish.

    A Regular confession:

I must say that when I got my first couple Sebenzas they were 21's and I preferred the sleek lines of the 21 to the pictures here of the regulars. But after finally getting my hands on a couple of regulars I totally GET IT. I love the shape and I am surprised they don't make them any more. I have more than a slight preference to regulars and am looking forward to expanding on that part of the collection, and am perhaps thinking of selling my first 21.

I couldn't resist replacing my small Night Sky 21 with a regular
