While i know this isn't knife related, i can't get to the place where i usually talk about this stuff, and i really like you folks, so i figured some of you might wanna know about it

So the word is that ar15.com was shut down by the Department of homeland security. No real word on WHY yet, but the site isn't coming up.

That's just beyond, I dunno, ridiculous.

It reminds me of the stupidity of how the Feds raided this store that sold airsoft guns, seized about 10k worth of toy airsoft rifles, and claimed any person with know-how could convert them to fully automatic machine guns.

Confirmed or just a rumor? I'm guessing it's just an outage. The Feds like to put up big flashy logos when they shut down a site instead of just letting it time out.

so far, pure rumor, but it's just enough like the crazy shite they've done in the past that it is credible

Subscribed for future updates, if needed.

I tried accessing the site a few minutes ago as well, and got nothing, which I thought odd since I'd accessed it not more than an hour or two ago. We'll see what happens...

I was on arfcom earlier today as well. Where did you hear/read that the site was, or may have been, shut down by Homeland Security?

I read it on Totse2.com... it apparently only happened less than an hour ago

again, i have ZERO information on the veracity of this report, but it won't surprise me

It has been mentioned on Arfcom that investigations might occur because of the large number of "assault weapons" that are sold on their exchange in interstate transactions

Checked their Facebook page and I didn't see any mention of being shut down.

Its true about Homeland Security shutting down ar15.com. Its all part of Vice President Biden's plan to lead an alien invasion force that will establish an earth colony of robotronic life forms. But it can't happen as long as people can read about assault weapons on the internet. Everyone knows that. So get your thinkin' hats on people. We all knew it was only a matter of time before robotronic life forms took over the earth. But it all starts with disarming us. This is all happening to fulfill ancient Mesopotamian prophecy.
