    I've heard that if you wrap the Maglite in foam rubber, it doesn't leave a mark.

    On one of my 2xAA Maglites and my 3xD Maglite, I've added a Bust-a-Cap. Never had a chance to test it on a piece of auto glass, but it's supposed to be far more effective than just smacking the stock end cap against a car window.

    I carry a MiniMag 2 AA with me everywhere, and I found that it is all about the right battery. And I've found that its not brand specific...its manufacture error. I'll buy batteries in large packs ( my 2 brothers and dad also carry mini mags ), than go through them till I find the best fitting ones. Also, I've found that re-chargeable batteries fit snug, and they have rather long life spans, but I can only speak for the AA mini mags.
