Just picked this up from the post office this morning. After reading Ankerson's write up ( thanks alot by the way) I knew I had to have one. Great steel and great design, just couldn't help myself. This is just a some quick pictures and first impressions since Ankerson already did quite the review on this blade and it doesn't seem like this is getting much love.

The sheath is a nice fit, no rattle and good retention. I like the clip as well, it's nice to be able to attach and remove the sheath without to much hassle.

The handle shape it excellent, the only thing I may change is to re-scale it so they are a bit more hand filling, but current size is actually quite comfy for a having thinner slabs

    Made a curly stick

    Obligatory on my hat pic

On my bar with a piece of what I will most likely be rehandling with

Thanks Sal, Phil and everyone who had a hand in putting this together

Got it shaped to the tang, epoxied on and ready for pins and alot of sanding/ polishing, it's only to an 80 grit , should turn out to be a pretty nice piece of wood once it's polished up and finished, wet it down to get an idea

Looks very nice. Could be my Bushcrafters thinner brother.

Thanks for sharing the photos and you're right, this one isn't getting enough attention. But the fixed knives seldom do if they aren't for "hard use".
