Did they make any Spyderflys with S30v steel??.

I have a guy that has a spyderfly which he says has S30v steel. I thought they only came in 440C, or VG10?.

I did a search for S30v spyderflys but couldnt come up with anything.

AFAIK VG-10 to start for a short time the switch to 440C.The rainbow flys are all 440C.

No, the Spyderfly started out in VG-10 steel. They then brought out a newer version a little later on in 440C which also came in the Rainbow finish. The Spyderfly's were only ever made in VG-10 or 440C.
The rarer version is the one with the VG-10 which only came in the grey finish.

The Szabofly and the Smallfly come in 154cm, but there were never any versions of any Spyderco Balisong that came in s30v. Unless he had a custom blade made for it, or he has a fake that was falsely advertised, then he's lying or is sadly mistaken.

The Szabofly was also made in VG-10 for a short time.
