Queen City Cutlery knives have frequently had some QC problems in my experience. The S&M File & Wire series I, II and III were terrific knives, among the best ever from a factory cutlery. The Schatt & Morgan series IX knives had the same ATS-34 premium stainless that the F&W series had, plus beautiful wormgroove bone. The more recent Queen amber carved stag bone (ACSB) and curly zebrawood handled knives are beautifully made, but frequently have dull and obtuse blades. If you have diamond stones, they can be sharpened to beautiful levels-- the D2 steel is the best available in factory traditional knives.
