Large Phil Hartsfield collection 45 + items!!!

OK, I'm gonna try this again and hopefully, I got the right membership level, right forum, right questions etc.

Hi everybody, I registered awhile back and have been viewing the forum but I now have something to discuss. An 85 yr old friend of the family discovered a large Hartsfield collection after her son died and has asked me to research and sell the collection. I've been using ebay for along time but I really don't want to get into shipping items, people possibly trying to return them and all the hassels that go with ebay. I thought i would post pictures here first. It's hard to research values for this stuff. I have all receipts from Hartsfield, old catalogs, they range from early 80's to early 90's if I remember correctly.

From what I've read some don't like this stuff but after handling these items I'm hooked.

I want to share all the pics with the forum members for their enjoyment and in doing so I also want help identifying the knives and swords and eventually values because I eventually will sell them all, well maybe not all I might trade some for vintage Randalls and keep some users for myself.:Thanks guys love the Forums!

Enjoy the pics and lets talk about them!

    Here's some of the items:

That is an amazing collection. I had the honor of meeting him a few years back, great guy spent a good 4 1/2hrs just talkin blades. I also have a catalog of his from 2009 if you would like I can see if I can scan it and email it to you for a more updated pricing. You might also want to post it on the for sale forum here, as you have the appropriate membership level and I think they will get eaten up pretty quick.

Edit: I just noticed your located in Irvine, I happen to have family that I visit often there. I might have to get one of those blades when I'm down there.

Personally, I want any movie I see about a guy that travels back in time in a souped up DeLorean and meets his parents before they were married to have the appropriate guitar for the year, kinda blew the believability of the whole movie for me.

Wow! Too cool... the two wrapped fighters are very different, I haven't seen many of those.

The different tantos are just spectacular. Thanks for the pics.

I make knives in this style, and it's very cool to see these so up close and personal. They let me see more clearly what Phill was thinking, and what he was up to with these.

Thanks for the comments guys. I will work on categorizing them and attaching a number to each one and I'll take pics of all the others and post them here. I have other stuff I have to work on too, new in box Pacific Cutlery Balisong stuff a gun collection even bigger than this, a few Rolexes. A little overwhelming considering I work a full time, part time, and on call handy man jobs! Thanks again.

You might give some thought to dropping by Phill Jr.'s shop with that collection. He's in Santa Ana and I'm sure he would love to see them. Some of them are quite rare and valuable.
    Regards, Lou
