    10 inches Camp Knife

Today, I would like to show my new camp knife which made by Supat who is the bladesmith in Thailand. It forged from the steel W2 of Don Hanson.

    BL: 10 2/8 inches
    BW: 2 inches
BT: 5/16 inches (at the spine)
    Bolster and ferrule: Wrought Iron
    Handle: Stripped Pradu

... Full flat ground and very thin edge ...

    Tested ...

    Many thanks

Very good, I like the knife finish and the shape of the handle.

Looks like a real nice piece.

I need to get a custom forged chopper. Integral bolster, from the looks, and the handle looks great for chopping!

That's awesome, it's great to see it getting used and know it's capable of some real work in addition to looking great. I like the shape of the handle, looks like it gives a real positive grip.

Terific piece - I see a bit of Tad Lynch in this one - great lines and more than ready to work hard. Definitely my kinda knife. Never heard of that wood before, but it's beautiful.

Yehh... Roger, your feeling is right. This knife was made from inspiration of Tad Lynch knife, recurve blade. For the handle, Supat have had an idea and got a learning from the knife handle of Adam Des Rosiers combination with Tad Lynch.

Don Hanson's W2 is a great steel for knife but it's so difficult to heat treat if the blade have a thickness.
