Meet up with my brother (Turkey George on here) to get our tree stands set up & to clear our shooting lanes out around them & putting out the trail cams. I had my boys with me & he had his dog with him....those three kept each other occupied

A couple of the tools we had with us today - My BK2 & His Condor Hudson Bay

On our way back we ran into this tall, very straight plant growing beside the logging road, I have no clue what it is maybe one of you guys can ID it. My brother decided to give a try a making a Fish/Frog spear from it. The pics speak for themself -

Looks like a great time. I have made several carp spears with 12 inch nails before but never a frog spear.

Looks like you guys had a blast...great work on the frog spear. My son's been bugging me to go frog gigging in our pond...she's full of frogs and it would be a great meal for him!

I always enjoy making frog spears/gigs like that. Simple and useful if you know what you're doing.
