Mastersmith John Fitch’s old-school stag camp knife with incredible feel and balance—stag taper flows perfectly into the guard with plenty of grip aft and a very precise feel forward. One of John’s nicest working pieces designed to feel great in the hand while doing any camp chore from butchering elk to preparing dinner for the tribe. Hand-rubbed satin 1084 blade is full-flat ground to an extra-fine cutting edge. Blade length point-to-guard is 6 ½” with overall length of 11 ½”. Handsome and tastefully tooled leather pouch sheath by Kenny Rowe. This knife is new, unused as from the maker. You don’t see much from John anymore, but in his day he was truly a phenom both at fit and finish work and in performance—won the ABS cutting competition I believe twice. This knife demonstrates his unique gift for producing an extreme performance cutter in a beautiful old-fashioned pattern. Be the envy of your hunting camp this fall—you will definitely go prepared.
