Please Help Me Find A Clip For My Speed Bump

I need a new pocket clip for my Kershaw Speed Bump (G10 version).. Does anybody know of a clip either off a different production knife or a custom/aftermarket pocket clip that would fit my knife without me having to start drilling holes into it? I dont really care what it looks like I just want something better than the pocket clip it came with. The clip it came with is really flat so when I clip it to my pocket the bottom of the clip sticks up and gets hooked on things. Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks for the advice. I emailed him to ask about prices and availability. Ive heard a lot of great things about his work. I feel kind of odd getting a custom clip on my cheapest knife though.. I just really hate the factory clip, and I broke it when trying to bend it to fit my pocket better.

I checked with STR, he wont do one for my speed bump. The mount is ridiculously awkward. Hes done a couple before but said it was very difficult and it didnt come out as well as he had hoped. Im not saying there was anything wrong with them, Ive never seen them, he just said he wasnt satisfied with them so he didnt want to keep making them. Any other suggestions?

Ask your question on the Kershaw/ZT forum. Guys into Kershaws (myself included) may be able to help you out....know of another model clip that will fit a Bump.

The first thing I'd do is to call Kershaw..800 305 2891 and ask them if they have one or if they have a clip from another Kershaw that will fit you Bump.

Someone on the Kershaw/ZT forum told me that a Storm clip would fit my Ti Tyrade.....I modded the big ugly clip that was on it...I want a unmodded to put back on

my Tyrade if I ever decide to sell it.

Check out the clip on the Leek and Shallot - see if the top is wide enough.
If not, look on the Kershaw JYD. Those are really wide.

But like Clockman did, I think the Storm clip would fit the Speedbump(I know it's not the Tyrade).

Did you think to check out the Kershaw Needs Work Clip? Might be your cheapest option rather than getting one from Kershaw.

Wow thanks guys. I called Kershaw before work and Teresa from the warranty dept. said all clips are unique and no others would fit my bump... I hope shes wrong though because otherwise Im screwed. How can I find out if any of those would fit, without having to buy them? There arnt any stores in town that sell alot of Kershaws. Ive only seen 5 Kershaws in town at stores/gun shops in the last few years. I live in a little desert town so not a whole lot of high end knives around here. I have to order all mine. Well the main thing I want different is I want it to not be so flat. Its so flat when I clip it to my pocket the clip bends outwards and gets caught on everything. I would also like it to be a bit shorter.

Let me tinker with some of the clips I have here and see what I can do with them. I'm bored anyway. Would something curved like a JYD clip be better?

I hate my speed bump clip also. I have thought many times about heating and bending a bit or even just grinding the poop out of it.

Turk that would be great. I like to have room between the clip and the knife where there is no contact, makes it easier to get on and off. The original clip rides almost against the knife the full length of the clip. I tried to bend the factory clip and snapped it.. but I did it cold.

I got my clips back from Turk.919 and they are amazing. He even did one up for my ZT0350SW. Amazing work!
