So far, I like the one on the bottom the best. I think the '.com' does not look appealing. I think it is obvious to most people that if it is a 'forum', then it must be on the internet. The .com makes it look more like an advertisement than a community in my opinion.


I might try my hand at doing a design as well.

Yeah, we were probably working on them at the same time. you know what they say, great minds think alike . I didn't copy yours though if that's what your implying.

Just a suggestion, maybe on the edge of the blade you can put "the leading edge" and on the knife "of knife discussions"
Idk this is just a suggestion I'm not sure how it would look but you can try.
I am really loving this design though :P

The Concept:
I really wanted to create something clean, conceptually strong, easily memorable, and something that reproduced great when it was really small, and really big.
I used the symmetry of 2 blades opposite each other and the "b" and "f" for bladeforums. There is a separate, handled knife within each letter, and I wanted something that you saw more the longer you looked as well. Each letter is also a different style of knife (while keeping the same blade/symmetry) bringing a little more depth to the logo and showing how bladeforums spans the whole spectrum of knives.

223 great one, wish I thought of that the F looks good but for the B it would maby to make the lower case b a spiked guard with the knife coming out like you had it? Just a suggestion
