17" of CPM-M4

Howdy Guys,

I have not posted anything here on the forum for a while, so it's time for something fun!

This is the Pork Sword, XXHD hog hunting knife. It would be a great camp knife or otherwise excellent chopper. It comes with an equally sturdy welted leather sheath made from Wickett and Craig leather...and lot's of it. This is a big and heavy knife, but you'll be surprised at the balance and deft feel. The handle and spine are rounded for an ultra ergonomic chopping experience. Here are the specs:

OAL: 17"
Cutting edge length: 11"
Grind: Flat/convex hybrid
Blade thickness: .300 to approx .170" distal taper
Steel: CPM-M4 @ 61rc
Handle: Stabilized turkish walnut with black G10 dovetail bolster
Finish: hand rubbed (!!) then lightly etched with a pattern

Thats a whole lotta premium steel! The handle design and material is VERY nice.

Thanks Jon! Rubbing a finish on this knife was crazy. I finish even more wear resistant steel but never this much at one time. This one is big fun to play with!
