He looks like a cool guy and makes some pretty nice blades. Mainly the bigger ones. Im not too fond of his choice paracord color sometimes but we all have different taste.

Recurves are pretty useful with pulling or dragging cuts, almost like a hawkbill but easier to sharpen and not that delicate of a tip. When cutting 1/2" thick cardboard I found the recurve will keep the knife from slipping out of the cardboard.

I like a lot of his blades. I really like his handles. I'm mostly into his larger blades, but the smaller blades are nice as well.

    Hello,

Hes a great guy and unlike a lot of the the guys on you tube he actually tests and perfects his designs before he sells them. His kydex is also very very well done. I really like his style on his larger choppers. The only issue I have is that he is not in the USA so your blades will take a little longer to get here and the shipping is a little more because of that.

    You will not be disappointed,

    Chris

Seems like a good guy. Makes cool blades from what I can see. I, however, cannot agree with his politics. Its rather sad but I had to unsub his channel.

He's great at making knives, but I've noticed how he replies to some comments, and he comes across as rude sometimes.

He seems to be one of the few who attests to good results with Elmax, because he has it specially heat treated. He tested it quite thoroughly on a camping knife. I'd buy from him, and he doesn't seem that rude. I mean, he always says: "Don't cut yourself."

    Look where I'm looking!

I believe he is living in Florida now and before that NYC. I contacted him a few times though youtube and he was always very helpful and a all around nice guy in my experience.

I've subbed his channel for a long time now. I like him.

As for his knives... I'm not sure about this new style of maker, meaning guys like him and tuffthumbz, and others. Guys that review/pimp then start making from there as opposed to apprenticing and doing hammer-ins and working toward being a MBS.

I guess it doesn't really matter as long as the product is high quality for the asking price. I wouldn't pay well over $200 for a small Hawk that featured a full length handle made of duct tape though. To me that's one difference in styles. I doubt you'd ever see that kind of nonsense from a Master Blade Smith.

I do like his knives. His (quality) handles are interesting but I'd like to feel one before I bought one.

He's a great guy, I've traded a couple emails with him along meeting him at blade show this year. Hopefully I'll own one (or more ) of his knives someday.
