Theres a name I haven't seen in a while. Its kinda sad how some awesome people just kinda disappeared over the last few years.

I miss that bastard. We had a little get together at his girlfriends house and he made delicious chilli. A
bout 2 weeks later he just disappeared. I've still got a machete he found sticking out of a garbage bag I was sharpening for him, and a Ka-bar khukri he loaned me.


A few times in the past he's disappeared for several months. Just gets fed up with forums and takes off. Guy's also a little bit of an off the grid nutter. Was doing a google search and he may be on the esee forums. I'll have to register to check out if he has any recent activity.



I don't remember his email adress, but Jca21 may have it kicking around somewhere.

I bumped into him at a local shop here some time ago. He was doing well, busy working lots. I think he just got fed up with bladeforums as mentioned. I've seen him around the ESEE boards but I haven't checked in for a while there. I've got his number, I should give him a shout, assuming he hasn't gone totally off the grid, lol. We haven't had a BC get together in ages.

I PM-ed him on the ESEE forum awhile ago and he said he was busy working, trucking around. I miss him, too.
Definitely we should get the "BC Wrecking Crew" back together.

Talked to him today. Alls well, said he's been workin lots, and buying cool new gear. Gonna get a hike going next weekend, Saturday the 25. I'll make a new thread for it. He's alive!

What impressed me about Bushman was his generosity. I mumbled something about Canadian fatwood sources, and bada bing, he ships me neatly sawed F.W. from the coast. Free of charge, no ifs ands or buts. A rare thing in this world. Especially considering that I lent a Becker Mag Camp and Ka-Bar potbelly to a fellow Canuck a while back to check them out. He ignored my emails for oh, say a month, after a few months of trying them out. Then when I sent my shipping address to get them back he kept ''losing it'' multiple times. So I said f..k him and wrote the knives off as being lent to a hole. He teaches SAR in Alberta.

No doubt about it Bushy is an A+ dude, online and in real life.

That blows about your two blades though, I remember that coming up a while ago. Sucks that there's people out there that'll do that sort of stuff.
