That' s an interesting comparison there
I still can' t believe just how thick that Techno blade is. I love the way it looks though, just might buy one sometime

That is an excellent comparison. I haven't really given the ambitious much notice, didn't realize it was about the same size as the techno. If I could get a wire clip for the ambitious, it would be a perfect "office knife."

Check out the G10 Cat - pretty much the same size, wire clip, 50/50 choil, slightly better steel (440C). It's a little bit more expensive than the Ambitious, but definitely worth it IMO. I actually carry the discontinued CF/S30V version of the Cat at the office and swapped out the silver clip for the blackened wire clip from the Sage1.

Today I used my techno to pry open a paint can lid, thick spine side, NOT the tip. I would later press that techno into hammer duty to pound the lid closed (pointed pivot side strikes didnt even scratch the Ti).

Probably a little too ambitious for the ambitious, the prying part made me cringe but techno shrugged it off. Even my wife forewarned me of an impending tip break, techno shrugged..

I have a Persistence and it can fly open. I assume the Ambitious is the same. How does the opening of the Techno compare? I'm a lefty so I use the middle finger to flick it open.

My Techno flips open with minimal effort, but I am right handed. I really like the Techno pocket tank!

Thanks for the pictures. I really want to get one but I'm worried about the smaller size. I should be able to see one in person next week and if all is good, I'm definitely pulling the trigger.
