Lost the clip screws to my Camillus Cuda Dominator folder...

I removed the ti clip from my Camillus Cuda Dominator to check out how the folder felt. I liked it, but I decided that I wanted to keep the clip. Unfortunately I lost all three of the screws.

The clip screws from the larger Camilus Heat folder are smaller and don't fit the Dominator. Does anyone know what the correct size and length of the Torx screw is, and where I can get replacements? Thanks!

Your "Heat" folders are NOT from Camillus, they are gray market Chinese knock-offs imported by low life Stains.

The real Camillus Heat, Sizzle & Blaze were made in Taiwan to Camillus specs.

That said, for your Dominator clip you need 2-56 screws. I cannot remember the exact length we used, but if you get between 3/32 - 1/8 long you should be fine. Just ensure the length of thread is less than Titanium handle thickness.

I can't stand knock-offs. How can I confirm this? I got the "Heat" folders second hand a little while ago. In the meantime, I'll send the previous owner an email as well.

Confirm it? You were told by the former design engineer of Camillus Cutlery, the Camillus New York Manufacturing Company. These knives were likely made for the new owners of the trademarks, Acme, with the Camillus trademarks. They are a "Tribute to Elvis", not Elvis.

I may be misremembering, but I believe that Mr. Gibbs worked with the designer, Darryl Ralph, to bring the originals into production at Camillus Cutlery. Thus he would know his own children. Phil, please do correct me if I am mistaken.

At any rate, Phil, like myself, resents the fad of buying up trademarks and having them put on knockoffs and "tributes" made overseas instead of in traditional American cutleries like Camillus and Schrade which has suffered the same fate.

Actually those knock-offs are NOT done by Acme United (the new owners of the Camillus mark).
They were done by a former member of the Camillus sales department whose name I will not soil this forum with.

The easy way to ID them is the "Camillus Blades" etch. There was/is a trademark dispute in Europe on this.
I believe they are also marked as Made in Spain.
In reality they were excreted in China.

"Camillus Blades USA" were all made in China, contracted by Ombu, sold by Vinny.
ATI lost a very expensive lawsuit from Acme United for this fiasco.
Vinny never had the right to the assisted opening patent or the "Heat" trademark.
I will wager that Vinny stays away from the ATI guys at shows.

Boker was just a customer of the Real heats left over at the Taiwan factory after Camillus was gone (just like Ontario).

Just goes to show what I didn't know! More knife mystery and history! You will have to excuse me as I grew up in Arkansas and still speak with a twang. To this day it prevents me from doing a proper British accent. But I do a pretty good "Tennessee".

Phil is right, on the blade it is marked "Made in Spain". How do I know? Have one!!!
