Nice snags Ed, 95 is a LOT of Frontiers! I might have an extra flyer or two around here if you need one.

ea42, I have some stuff from http://www.collectors-of-schrades-r....iers/index.htm and Larry directly. That has helped a lot. Could always use more information. As we all know there is a lack of information in the knife world and what we can put together helps a lot.

This time my latest Frontier is a 4815 5 inch folding lock back. But that is not all, it makes 100 Frontiers in my collection.

Nice one to make 100 too. I sure like my 4815. Congrats!

    834 stockman

Shown here with its 832 sibling that I picked up back in July.

My favorite blade on both, the sheepsfoot.

Picked up this Craftsman off the bay and I am sure it is a Schrade. There is no number on the blade only Craftsman and USA. The scales seem to be a dark brown Delrin. I have a few other 5" lockback Sears/Craftsman knives and it doesn't look like any of them. It has the classic LB-7 look.

I'm still scarfing up Old Timers any chance I get. Nothing as nice as Larry's early bone handles though. Most recently:
41OT with 2001 Special Edition etch, 3OT with some shale company etch, and another Silver Anniversary 34OT.

Something odd came up a few weeks ago, a 97OT with a SCHRADE+ stamp and yellow handles.

In addition to any interesting advertising knives, I'm still on a quest for some Old Crafty, Master Mechanic, FFA, and anniversary knives.

I received a box of fine knives in the mail today and couldn't be happier. Five Schrade and a Case. Most are deserving of their own threads but here is the group of them hanging out together as a quick preview.

My mouth fell open when I first saw Larry's pictures. Amazing collection of ultra-rare Old Timers. Congratulations on assembling them together, and many thanks for sharing with us.

As i have stated previously, i think the LB7 is one of the best all-round big folders of all time. I have quite a few. This drawer is stacked about 3 deep with LB7's (and 3 LB8's:

So, i don't actually need any more. But, i find it hard to pass it up when i see one on ebay that is not getting any bids.
Here is a 4 pin that came to me for $12.88:

And, when received, i see that it is from the first year of production:

11,741 is a low number for a knife that was made in the millions.

Here is another nice recent arrival:

roland i am like you, love the LB 7 and 8 knives. like you i have loads but not that load. i am now getting picky as to which ones i buy. that one would have qualified for sure. also looking for serial numbers that start with AB, AZ. that low number certainly would have gotten my attention. good on ya'! my lowest is 21713 and oldest serialed BB55299. be sure to enter it in the LB 7 post. did it come with bling?
