Ok I just want to try and get my mind wrapped around the Steel Heart series. Any help is much appreciated. I know that a bunch of different thicknesses and blade lengths exist.

As far as ranking them in thickness does it go something like this?(Please forgive me, I am not up on all of my acronyms)

    HOGFSH
    FSH
    SH
    ASH
    SKINNY ASH

Am I missing any? A rule of thumb for length on these?

    Thanks for anymore info

I have only owned one Ash1 cg. Those were .30 or so. Mine was .32 with coating if I remember correctly?

Thick monsters, but with the full flat grind, surprisingly good edge geometry. I convexed mine.

If I had to pick a combat knife (all around), It would be Ash1 with a 1/2 or so sharp clip.

They just feel locked in the hand.

I have never owned a Fusion Steel Heart.

Definitely not that easy there were varying thickness within the respective model lines. The FSH came in at least a few flavors. The CG was .25, the HHFSH and some show releases were .27, then you get fat with the .32 HOGFSH, and HUGE at .345+ with the MOASH. Check out the Busse collector site for more specs.

    Cheers

Thanks for the info, it is much appreciated. I will check out the link. I am gonna guess that the lengths are a guess as well? Or could you re-arrange my list in a general longest to shortest, excluding the very limited versions?

There was a run of 10-12 (or more) of FNMOASH. I wish the rest were MOASH. I might still have one. The rest were just HOGFSHs.

    "just HOGFSHs"

From the info on Busse Collector the only difference between a HOGFSH a MOASH and an ASH1 is at the most .025 in thickness. Can that really be felt? All stuff to factor in while I search one down. Thanks for all the help, its much appreciated.
