Very nice
All,
Have posted this a few places here, but wanted to show you as well.
Seeing your great sheaths through the years, was as much an inspiration as the Sheath makers forums, and all the great folks at W&SS..so thanks for the ideas.
Jerry's team did an AMAZING Job on the Rodent 9!!! Took me a while to figure out how to make pants that to the best of my ability were as close to worthy as I could get without driving my wife insane when I got home from work.
Most of all, thanks to the gracious forumite who gave me this (then new) R9, when he heard our family had a tough time a few months back with the finances and had to sell much of the collection, and was in essence "chopperless"..thankfully all that is working out now, and we're back on track..but thanks so much for being a Friend...you know who you are...
This one's an heirloom for the kids..and is an example to them of how we should treat our fellow brother & sister humans in their times of need..will never forget it.
Be well, and have a killer weekend.
Here's the sheath made in honor of my Friend, his graciousness in our time of need, and the absolute killer blades churned out at Busse and all the kin shops..this R9 is bottomline..Efficient:

Thank you very much, Sir. You and Dwayne P really know how to wrap a blade..this project, if nothing else, proved the value of great craftsmanship like you Gentlemen offer. Kudos to you!!! Have really enjoyed your products through the years..they are awesome.![]()
Having just finished my first home-made leather sheath, i can say i wish i had seen this first! i absolutely think this is most rugged pants i've ever seen, and appropriate for a Busse chopper! Great job!
My next project, for my chopper, will probably be a tribute to this!
VERY nice...all the way around!...![]()
Great sheath design! Allows for excellent retention and protection of the knife and yourself, as well as comfort and ease of carry.
Congrats to whoever blessed you with the blade as well!
That looks great.
