Here is my modded BK2 with her new scales (micarta) and a Sagewood sheath. Brian did a great job and I couldn't be happier. He contacted me before he finished the sheath with a question about the firestarter holder. Glad he did, cause I got the hole dimension wrong. He was looking out for me, that says a lot about a seller. Awesome job Brain.

    Thanks for looking...

Very very nice, mind if I borrow it for a while? It'll only be a few generations.

Looks great! I love Sagewood's work. I really want to pick up one of those sheaths... just can't decide if I want a BK2 sheath or a tweener sheath! I know... I know... BUY BOTH! I wanna spread the love around though and get a Sagewood and a Skystorm.

I really like the new BK9 sheath from Sage, too....

Thanks guys. The only thing I don't like is the handle on the Gobspark. Love the Gobspark, hate the look of the handle.

They do look a bit big. Nice for gloved hands, I suppose.

A couple things. None too permanent. I did a sriracha patina and then I did this:

    http://bushcraftusa.com/forum/showth...ing-A-tutorial

I only did one session and then used a green scotchpad to clean off what I wanted. Then I oiled it. The patina and the bluing worked together really well... Here is a pic before the bluing...

Here it is after the bluing...

Awesome pics Chad, that BK2 looks sick with that patina and micarta. Nice work man.

Glad to hear you like the sheath. Thanks for the compliments, I really mean it. I do my best to make sure you guys get exactly what you want/need with your sheath rigs.

More awesome work from Goose !!! Quick questions- I am assuming that the knife can be removed with one hand & replaced with one hand, yes ? Is there any type of audible click or a certain feel to KNOW it is secured, when doing so with one hand. Just curious as this is an important feature for me.

It sits in firm, no click. Kind of a pinching. Very tight.
