zt 200 thumb-stud

greetings all,
this may have been posted before but has anyone removed the thumb-studs from the 0200? want to polish the blade and kind of hard to work around. me thinks they're press fitted but don't want to whack on them needlessly. any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks and best regards.

They are pressed. Best way is to use a bench vise lined with cloth and a socket. You will need something small to use as a punch too.
