lookin' good. What do we call that jigging pattern?
Completely agree... GEC from now on!
That last picture is excellent. I am actually giddy about this knife. I have a grin from ear to ear everytime I look in this thread. Thanks again to the folks that made this possible and to the folks at GEC for making this piece.
It is going to be a very useful pocket knife. I suspect these knives should be completed at GEC by the end of October. So we should all have ours mostly by Thanksgiving which is about what I expected.
I think Bart Scott said it best...

It looks like a cross between Old KaBar, and old Case. How about the Forum Jig??

I am so looking forward to this knife! And to think I almost didn't order one...
Wow. Wow. Wow.
Looks like GEC used a time machine in the fabrication process.
Thanks to the committee for putting this all together! The knife looks absolutely terrific![]()
Yes, thank you Bladeforums traditional knife of the year committee! This is my first Bladeforums traditional knife, and I've got to say, the whole process has been wildly entertaining! So much fun. I'm looking forward to when we start debating on next year's knife.
Stay out of the forum for a few days and come back to this?
I will echo the praise of the committee, great job folks![]()

You guys are still killin' me, you're stressin' me out, Ican't stand it, I can't wait, at least I downloaded the pic for wall paper, that'll have to do for now.
