Second one is from a series on vice. There's another film about another guy that i haven't seen.
I thought it might be neat to post any documentary's we find that might appeal to us outdoors folk all in one place.
Please keep it to say videos of 30 min duration and over.
This one was posted up on a recent thread~
And here is another I found last night~
And another good oldie~
Ray Mears Roger's Rangers video:
Part 1 of Les Strouds Snowshoes and solitude, go to youtube for the rest !
C'mon there must be some more good ones out there, I've got some long nightshifts coming up so need something to watch !!!
Lars Monsen has done some good shows, and is less well known. Here's one I haven't seen.
He has a good series in Norway aswell.
One of my favorites is "Happy People: A Year In The Taiga", directed by Dmitry Vasyukov and produced by Werner Herzog. The film depicts the life of the people in the village of Bakhtin along the Yenisei River in Siberian Taiga.
ETA, Oh Dang Pit had already posted this one, two recommendations must tell ya something
