    Stag handle I.D. help!!

No markings other than a hand scribed number in the brass- hard to see, but it's there. Anyway-they seem like a nice set. I hope I can figure the maker out..... Oh, there is a deer and an elk on the bottom of the handle.
The sheath is awesome!!! Anyone know what the 2 pieces of antler are for (on the sheath)? Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics.

They look like the work of Ken Richardson of Missouri, He sells privately and direct and through sporting goods dealers like Cabelas and Bass Pro. The antler nubs are used as tie downs for the handles, around the leg, or just as doodads depending on the length, etc..........

Your knives were sold by Cabellas, who claimed in my 2004 catalog that they were "handcrafted by a former blacksmith and horseshoer using whitetail or mule deer antler. the scrimshawed deer head was the only marking on the knives. They still sell similar knives, but without the deer head artwork, called "Silver Stag" knives. They claim the current batch are made by a "team of skilled blacksmiths, sportsmen and craftsmen. I don't know if they are the same knives or not, but you can check prices on their web site. Their current knives are a bit different in construction, with nickel silver guards instead of the brass. Otherwise quite similar with the machine-turned finish and general shape.

Thank you- I will check it out.

    Right on the money!

The blades are Jeweled (swirls on the blade), so the blades will retain oil, to hide blemishes common in this steel (1095), and to give the knife an antique look.

I just can't find the ones with the scrimshaw on the butt.
