I find that when I want to do basic web and email stuff at home ( or look at BF pics with the killer retina display:thumb up: ) I always turn to my iPad first. Plus I can use it easy sitting outside in the back yard. Nice

I haven't really investigated it much. I just use safari and put it on the regular (not mobil) web version and then increase the text size by a couple of points. I'm sure there some good readers out there iOS has tons of dev. writing apps right now... Maybe even a tap talk for iOS as long as it isn't made by Google or another competitor.

2 of my girls are really into My Little Pony. They want to be 2 of the characters for Halloween, but the costumes online and in store are pretty much a dress with the character's face on the torso. Kids weren't too happy about that, so I looked into getting them hats with the character's hair style and accessories (unicorn horn, colored hair, etc). Bumped into this site that does that, and more. Custom made cosplay stuff, you send in pics of the character and tell them your size, they'll make it for you. Hand made to order to your specs. I was showing the older of the 2 some pics of the hat and said MAYBE we'll have it made for her, and she got so excited she ran and told the younger one that Daddy was getting someone to MAKE them new costumes (even though I just said it was just a possibility at that point). They were jumping around and started singing My Little Pony songs. Even during dinner, the elder one kept mentioning how she was excited to dress up.

Whelp, my email for a quote for the costumes came back.

$220.

Per costume.

To use for 1 day.

I cannot be the jerk to tell them I'm not getting it though, they were too damn excited.

Yep, they will. The younger gets the better deal, too! My son has a handmade knight costume that he wore for Halloween and played with it for two years.
