Supposedly this is called the "twisty style" handle wrap. Don't know what genius though up that name. I used some old cordage I had that is slightly slimmer then paracord approx. 10feet long. This handle wrap I've found is very comfortable. I had a weave before but this I prefer so far.

Post up some pictures of how you guys wrap your handles (if you do). Both BK-11, 14, and 13 action. Im most interested to see some Remora wrapping because I just ordered one last night.

Also: anybody try and wrap a BK16 yet? Hmm....

    Cheers.

Nice Warrior. I like the wrap on the remora. Looks like you also did a little file work on the blade spine and handle too...

This is a wrap I would like to think I invented but that's probably not the case :P

I've got the zytel scales on my 14 now, but here's the wrap on my 14 when I first got it.

The wrap I did was very similar to yours. I used smaller cordage and finished it off different but I agree, very comfortable grip. Adds more volume then the traditional weave. I like the flashlight wrap. I've gotta try that next with one of mine. I have a couple of crappy lights that would make a 'cool' comeback if I treated them to some paracord work.

Thanks for posting guys. It seems most forum members start out with a wrap and have switched over to the Zytel or custom scales for their BK14s. I like the low weight and price of the paracord wraps but the feel + added ability and strength of the Zytel.

As I've been carrying a BK14 almost daily I think I may eventually have to sport 2 different 14 packages:

    1) wrapped (an ultralight) with a custom small kydex fold-over sheath setup for neck carry.

    2) Stippled zytel with a pancake kydex setup for scout carry. (or maybe some custom scales but I'd want a hard handle)

Great pictures guys keep them coming!

Here is mine, it is a little dirty so the orange dosn't pop like it used to. I will be getting some scales for it at some point. thinking G10.

able to get it right. just a thought :-)

These have all been posted at some point, but my BK14 has had a few different wraps.

This was my favorite. The lanyard gave my pinky finger somewhere to hang out.

This one sucked. I had something called "craft cord" laying around and tried it. It's like wrapping your handle in twine.

    My first wrap:

Like the previous poster said, there are a lot of videos on it already. Go to youtube and search for Izula wrap or Eskabar wrap and you'll find a ton of them.

Wrapped my Remora this afternoon in some cheap flat cord for the supermarket (I've run out of paracord):
