Does anyone have before and after pics of a Cold Steel Recon 1 folder clip point? I really want to get one and then strip the blade but not sure how it is going to look.

So how does one go about stripping the black finish?
Does it require disassembling the blade?

Most people scape it off with another blade. Here's a thread discussing it: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/sh...d-steel-teflon. And yes, I'd take the blade out of the frame and remove the thumbstuds. That way you can get to the whole blade and have a nice even finish.
