Nice knife. Its a shame the sheath got all dirty though.![]()
Hey folks,
My niece has been accepted into a ranger program here in Ontario. She will have 2-3 yrs of schooling with a lot of fieldwork ahead of her. One of her suggested personal wares was a small fixed blade. I couldn't bear the thought of her buying a Wally World special, so I quick wipped up a small user for her. I don't have pics of the one I gifted her but here is its twin that ships out to a customer, come Monday.

That's a great bushcrafter there! Your niece will have the best blades in her entire class I'm sure. Good luck to her.

Snub Lore?
I had a model called the "Bushlore"(My tribute to the popular Woodlore). It eventually shortened to the "Lore". I tried to straighten a blank once and broke the tip off. It went from a 5.5" to a 3" blade with a full handle. In the spirit of make lemonade from lemons, I finished off the blade and called it the "Snub Lore". I get more orders for that blade than almost any other I make.
This one is more proprtional with the small handle... maybe it should be called "Lil' Lore".
Here is the original Snub Lore from back in 2008...
