Need larger belt attachment for my kydex sheath

    Good afternoon folks:

I recently purchased a Bad Blood Spartan Knife for hunting and just love it! However, the belt clip only fits belts up to 1.5". As such, I wanted to know if there was something I can pick up on line which can allow me to adapt my current sheath to a larger belt (eg 2"). I know I can just buy a larger belt, but I have a few of the heavy duty nylon belts that I just love.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Theres a few makers that produce a production clip that I think might fit your needs, that is if the current sheath has that option of changing out said clip.

Spyderco has a G clip. but I dont know how big it goes.

And, if you need, there's no reason why any of the kydex benders cant make you a clip or loop that will fit your needs.

Just for the record, the Spyderco G-Clip is sized for a 1 1/2" belt, as is the mini-TekLok. The large TekLok is adjustable, and will fit up to a 2 1/14" belt (by removing the adjustable slider).

Thanks Mike, the Spyderco G-Clip looks like it will work. My current clip is held on by three screws and as such, can be removed. I am just worried about the hole alignments with the current sheath. Although, for the price - I can't really go wrong.

    Thanks!

Don't know if this is of any help, but theclip.com has a 2" holster clip (metal).

Cell phone cases for construction guys tend to have larger belt clips...I have bought cellphone cases at Lowes and Home Depot for $8-$12 just to get the belt clip...about the same price if you buy one or two clips and pay shipping.

What is the hole spacing for your current clip? Can you post a picture? Spyderco G-Clip hole spacing works with any sheath set up for the mini-TekLok (1" hole spacing vertical or horizontal). I designed the Spyderco G-clip, so always have plenty on hand if you need some. Check with me for pricing - very favorable,

Curious to know where you got your Spyderco G-Clip.

Sorry Mike, it is not the Spyderco G clip, it is the Blade Tech Large Tek-Lok Belt Clip. Not sure if it will work, but we will see. I still have to post that pic.
