Man, what a score! I've been in the hunt for the flat scales for a while, but they usually come with a knife attached.

I understand they're supposed to be re-released fairly soon. Early '13 maybe? I've seen them talked about... so I'm not in a hurry to spend the current prices on them.

Definitely will be picking one up as soon as they hit KABAR production though! Until then, the 2, 4, 7, 9, 12, 16, and 17 leave little to be desired... (except for micarta on the tweeners, of course!)

I've never heard anything about the 10 going back into production. It seems the LE BK10's didn't move fast enough.

I'm not sure when the original was posted. I saw the quote on another bk10 thread in september:

    http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/sh...5#post11295015

I certainly want one... and knowing that they'll be coming back at some point gives me less anxiety about wanting to pick one up "RIGHT NOW"... I feel the same way about the BK1.. that thing looks so mean...

I'd still like to pick up a 77 at some point as well... I was going to get that one Moose had for sale... but it was sold by the time I was ready to get it.

I hear that. I lucked out on this one. Perhaps he was making biscuits...

Haha. It freaks me out how comfortable they are. I sure didn't expect that. Plus, they have grip. Perhaps not as good for chopping, but damn, the purchase I can get is damn near perfect. At least for my hands they are.

Awesome find Dubz! Man, I wish Ka-Bar could come out with a set of Cami style micarta...Even for a LE release. 30 years of Beckers or something .

Thanks. I wish they still sold this type of micarta scales. I like the way these feel way better than the other micarta. But, use wise, perhaps the others are more comfortable. Not sure.

It is remarkable how sharp you can get the 10.

Congrats on that sweet looking 10 Dubz!
    Loving the old style micarta.
Alot of folks say the 7 is the best "all around" Becker. I think the 10 would probably fill that role for me.
I love the overall design and size of the 10. Cool blade. Lucky...
Don't find fault. Find a remedy.
