Near Port Townsend on the olympic Peninsula. Far away from the big city but I've had enough big cities living in manhattan for almost 10 years. My quality of life here is 100 times better. Where back east are you?

I use to live in Kitsap county for a few years. It's unbelievable on that side. I'd love to move to that side when I move back home.

I'm out in SC Greenville/Spartanburg area, if you're familiar. it's just damn hot and there are to many thing in the bush that can hurt/poison/kill you.
Back home we just had to worry about bear and cougar.

liking the look of that pd22 also -- have had good performance out of my LD10, but 3v behind the lamp sounds even better.
I have the E21 at 100 lumens and yes that with definitely wreck you night vision, having flashed myself in a mirror with the room dark. 200 lumens seems like it could almost be disorienting.

Edit: it's actually 170 lumens, so 200 is probably not that much noticably brighter. I was thinking 200 would be 2X as bright.

I'm thinking it will replace my ESEE-3/4 as my backpacking knife.

This has been a crazy few weeks for me. I missed my court appointment for my pistol permit so I have to wait a least another month while my gun just sits in the shop. The reason for that is I was watching a family members house as well as their dogs. Well one of the dogs was up all night. The son of a bitch caught & killed two opossum. So there I was at 530am standing out in their back yard chasing a dog trying to get it to drop the animal. The next day was my appointment and I slept right through my alarm. I never even heard it.

Then Monday was opening day of deer season for the bow, went out with my father to our cabin. I got myself what I thought was a nice doe but turned out to be a button buck. Got to put my 14 to good use on that. Spent most of yesterday processing that and tomorrow we are making some breakfast sausage out of the ground. Not to mention all this is on top of college. I gotta slow down before I get burnt out.

On a pleasant note my 15 worked amazingly for quartering and processing the deer. Hell of a knife. I'm kicking myself for not getting any pictures.

How you like that Adamas Guyon? I'm pretty interested in one but it looks so hefty to carry around. Maybe as a bag knife?

You'll enjoy that! XD is a good system, .40 is a pretty good light caliber and Springfield has the whole thing figured pretty well.

After its all said and done I'll only get paid for about 9 months of work this year and uneligible for unemployment. I'm so over that place. Gonna be doing a lot of knife work over that time. That's about the only cool thing about it. Looks like cheap beer for me for a while!
make as many "nearly ready to go" items as you can, be a factory... then finishing later.

i'm sure there's some people wanting knives. i know i do, but i have to keep an eye on my budget for a few many months to make sure i can do what i'm doing now, without panicing. basically, if the house don't need it, stop buying stuff :P that said, i might be eliminating some stuff for toy money or trades. but first i monitor.

definitely want an M-18, just not right this mo mo

    keep at it!
