I have been hoping that sooner rather than later during this election that Obama would be shown to be the unqualified clown that he is. My signature pretty much states my position, and that has been there for the past year, edited to reflect Romney/Ryan when Mitt picked his partner.

I didn't know about Romney during the GOP debates. I liked Newt, because he wasn't afraid to make his point and stand up to the biased liberal media, but didn't think he'd carry it all the way through, for the same reason. And I liked Cain, partly because of his business experience and being "relatable," and honestly thought being black would take part of Obamas base voters. But I was happy when Romney fought his way to the top of the heap. I think the thing that goes mostly unsaid is that Romney doesn't need this position. He is genuinely concerned about our future, as more of us should be. It just pisses me off to no end when I ask someone about the debate/election and the response is "aw, I don't get into politics, they all are puppets," or similar ignorant statement. Obama is changing our Country, for Christ's sake, and not for the better. I want to scream "Pull your head out of the sand/your ass, and start giving a shit about your future!"

Obama looked like someone stomped on his Presidential dick last night. He had no answers, and the high point for me was Romney brought up all the tax breaks he gave to his buddies with the green energy companies, now all failed. This guy is corrupt, his administration is corrupt, they are all proven liars. And this shitstorm he has started in the Middle East with the Muslim Brotherhood will cause the USA death after death for years to come. We need a solid leader now more than ever, and there should be no doubt who is more qualified to be leader of the most powerful country in the world.

God help us if Romney doesn't win.

You are witness to the destruction of the greatest country on Earth. Obama has proven to be nothing more than a lying, inept civil servant, with a corrupt administration. He isn't qualified to be President, and doesn't deserve another 4 years.

To be perfectly honest, I've been a little concerned with the possible effectiveness of Obama's adds connecting Romney with the current financial crisis. Last night's debate dispelled those concerns. Romney was able to present his ideas in a way that moderates and undecided could relate to. There were a few nonfactual comments from both, but I'm more concerned with Romney's nonfactual comments; they may come back to bite him in the behind, specially the comments about his health plan covering preexisting conditions.

That 47% comment wasn't well thought out on Romney's part. For one thing, it's a rather negative outlook on his odds if he really believes it. 47%? It means Romney would have to fight tooth and nail for the other 53%, most of whom are likely moderates with no party leanings. It means extraordinary events would have to take place to convince everyone else to vote for him, since the other 47% are guaranteed Obama voters(in his own words). And that 47% is more a reference to those receiving government assistance rather than those able to vote. I'm sure those ages 1-17 would want to vote for Obama, though it's a pity they can't...

Actually, check that. If voter ID isn't a requirement, I'm not sure they can deny someone who looks like they're 8 years old from voting since they can't ask to check their ID(that would be racist). And given all the dead people and illegal immigrants voting for Obama, Romney might as well be telling his constituents to throw in the towel.

There's also the earned entitlements in which people actually put into the system in some way like veteran's benefits. Can't say I imagined all those vets marching for Ron Paul.

No, that wasn't a very well thought out comment at all for Romney. Mitt is going to have to learn real fast to keep those negative opinions to himself, particularly if he gets elected. I do sometimes feel that it's a shame that these people in office have to willingly give up the option of truly speaking their minds just to please the public. It's one of the reasons why I would never want to run for president if I have to watch every word that comes out of my mouth.
It is my understanding that the 47% comment was not for public consumption and was recorded with a hidden camera. I agree that Romney should keep that sort of opinion private.
With all the electronic listening devices available these days, he should scan his bathroom for bugs and keep the water running.

But that's what I mean. With a mainstream media that's out to get you, he has to be more paranoid than all of Hollywood combined. It's the curse of being a celebrity. Unless of course you're Obama and the media conveniently clips away wholesale parts of your speeches that could be used against you. Romney is going to have to get used to locking his opinions away for years at a time. It'll probably strain him emotionally to not be able to speak his mind, even to his wife when he supposedly thinks that they're alone.

Still, I think that expectation of him is a little unreasonable of the public. I know I said that the 47% comment wasn't well thought out and really shouldn't have been said to ANY crowd, rich or poor. But haven't we all had times when we said things impulsively without thinking it through? I know for a fact that I have, on many occasions, and some of the things I said were flat out stupid. But that's part of being human. I feel some of the expectations we have of people is simply unrealistic. The man isn't Jesus. It might be a productive opportunity if the question about that comment comes up during the following debates and Romney can use the opportunity to reconcile with the public, admit his mistake, and hopefully apologize for his remark.

If Obama loses the election in November, that will only leave him about 3 months until Romney takes over in late January. If Obama is really as incompetent and clueless as everyone here seems to say, I am worried that 3 months is not enough time for him to destroy the American way of life, take away our guns, turn the country into a Socialist state, help his Moslem brothers destroy Israel, open the borders and declare amnesty for all those Mexicans, and all the other evil things he was going to do. What say you, can he git her done in three months?

Let's see... In 4 years Obama spent trillions more than Bush did in 8 years, so thats trillions... 8 minus 4... plus Obama ignored more US laws in 4 years than... OK, plus # of sued states... carry the 1... divided by 3 months... plus 1700 calorie meals for the Mrs.... times the ciggs he sneaks in every day... minus his golf handicap... plus 26.. and carry 4, add the 19, plus the # of terrorist attacks, plus the 4 dead... times the number of Middle East countries rioting, less those that love Obama... subtracting the allied countries he's offended, plus the 1 Russian President he sold out to... plus the people he's bowed down to... minus his apology tour numbers... carry the 6, plus the high unemployment figure rounded up to about a 9... multiply by the 300 fast and furious deaths... less the 2500 guns he lost... add the communists he's added to his administration, less those he fired, plus his tax cheat czars....... bring down the 6.2, times that 4 we carried over here and....

Well I'll be darned!! Yep... 3 months gives him plenty of time! The math tells the story.

But after he subjigates and enslaves the first fifty states, he'll spend the rest of his time looking for the seven he missed.

Despite all the Chicken Littles crying, "The sky is falling, the sky is falling"....it didn't. The Union survives. Uncle Sam continues to march. Kind of makes you proud to be an American, doesn't it?

I'm just curious as to what needed editing there. Did you forget to add sales tax?
