Charlie Dorton's commission, I believe! Whimsey indeed, Rob; just great!
I especially like the dual labels
Thanks for both the nice knife pics, and a good chuckle!!![]()
GEC's new Outlaw Jack sort of caught my eye but when I stumbled across this one I jumped on it. GEC Northfield "Ole Jack". I have to admit the shield, blade etch and packaging caused me to choose this one. Ya gotta love knife whimsey.
About 3 1/2 inches, half stops, long pull on the master blade, 1095 steel, copperhead jigged bone, pinched slanted bolster. Hee-Haw!

Cool, cool shield. I need one.
Like others I like the shield and that old jack knife pattern; really nice!
Terrific knife, as soon as I saw it in the GEC What's Happening section on their site I knew I was going to end up with one. That made picking the Rootbeer Tidioute Outlaw over the Copperhead NF easier cause I had an Ole Jack on the way too![]()
Definitely a fantastic combination.
That Mule calls to me like no other.![]()
Great looking knife!
I love unique shields!
Ok where can you find ole jack at? The shield reminds me of me!
